Mega Storms Of The Future Are Mauling Cities Right Now

Two buildings standing side by side on the seashore, then a recent mega storm hits. One building has the roof shredded and takes on significant damage as driving winds cause severe water penetration through both the roof and walls, while the second building, with roof and walls completely sealed, holds up and sustains no damage.

The biggest difference is the second building was completely sealed with a protective coating that is designed and proven for just that circumstance. Better building protection is needed as storms increase in intensity and frequency and Regulation may be the key to defending the outside of buildings. Requiring stronger protection that completely seals the outside of a building surface, preventing the penetration from mauling winds and rain may be the best hope for limiting property and personal damage.
